Disease Control Challenge

Escalating presence of aphanomyces root rot
Pea and lentil fields in Western Canada are facing a devastating new root rot. Aphanomyces euteiches was found in 60% of pea fields in Alberta and 65% of fields in Saskatchewan in 2014. With no control method available other than crop rotation, growers were walking away from pulse crops as the only way to avoid aphanomyces.

Nufarm Solution

The only seed treatment that protects field peas from aphanomyces
INTEGO™ Solo seed treatment is registered for pythium control and suppression of seed rot caused by phytophthora and aphanomyces in field peas, lentils, chickpeas, dry beans and soybeans. INTEGO Solo is also available in Western Canada to protect all registered crops from the establishment of pythium resistance by providing a brand new fungicide group for control.
